The Peruvian delegation is very concerned about natural disasters, especially earthquakes, as it is in a very seismic area. The last earthquake was in 2007 in the city of Pisco, which left 595 dead, 2291 injured, 76,000 homes completely destroyed and uninhabitable, and 450,000 people were affected.

We cannot continue to allow this type of disasters, therefore the Republic of Peru proposes the plan "lives safe" this plan is about creating a foundation with the name of the plan that will focus on getting money to strengthen infrastructures, we will rely on the ministries of the country as there are things planned but not executed by the bad management, so we will accelerate it.

However, we recognize that not every state has the socioeconomic resources which our country holds, therefore, as a means to share our success story…

Indonesia is situated within the Ring of Fire, a region identified for its frequent occurrence of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, landslides, droughts, and forest fires. Due to having at least 1,500 natural disasters annually, Indonesia stands as one of the most disaster-prone nations globally. The Republic of India is a country with varied climate, and topography and therefore liable to various types of disasters including man-made and natural disasters. As there was rapid industrialization and urbanization, there were several effects of climate change exacerbating disasters in India.
