Mutual understanding requires being able to understand the point of view, their reasoning and in other cases knowing how religion influences the morals and decisions that are made. Therefore, all factors that influence decisions that may affect mutual understanding and harm international relations are taken into account.

This is why the Czech Republic respects the influence of religion in diplomacy, but does not encourage its use because the Czech Republic does not consider it a crucial factor, without leaving aside the fact of respecting the countries that do take it in consideration. As the UN dictates in the universal human rights bill, there is the right to freedom of religion or belief.

Additionaly, the Czech Republic is a secular country,…

As a diverse and historically rich country, we place a significant emphasis on understanding religion in the context of diplomacy. Religion has played a vital role in shaping Hungary's cultural identity, and the nation recognizes its importance for effective cultural diplomacy and international relations.

Hungary is a secular country that upholds the principle of separation of church and state. While the majority of the population in Hungary identifies as Roman Catholic, there is a notable presence of other religious groups, including Protestants, Jews, and Muslims, among others. Understanding and respecting this religious diversity is integral to Hungary's approach to diplomacy and cultural exchange.

To preserve natural cultural diplomacy, Hungary has implemented several policies and initiatives:

PHILIPPINES:The Philippines, as a multiethnic and multi-religious state, believes that religion plays a key role in shaping the relationships that cultures have with each other, thus it has a big effect on how cultural diplomacy plays out in a nation, and its understanding is imperative for the analysis of the relationships between cultures and the application of effective cultural diplomacy and communication. Each country should uphold the separation of Church and State and optimally strive for a secular government, however, this doesn’t mean that religious organizations should be ignored. On the contrary, each nation should strive to cooperate with these organizations for the promotion of cultural diplomacy, and negotiate with religious leaders and cultural representatives regarding the issues where religious…

GHANA:

The immense number of people who live in the Republic of Ghana, around 70% of the 32 million inhabitants of Ghana declare themselves Christian, 20% Muslim and the remaining 10% of other religions. Therefore, the constitution prohibits religious discrimination, stipulates that people are free to profess and practice their religion, and does not designate a state religion. This requires registration so that religious groups have legal status. Likewise, today shows us a reality in which “modern slavery” still exists, which leads to the concerns of various people, especially the “self-proclaimed” pastors accused of sexual misconduct, financial exploitation and other abuses, but who opposed to any legislation that regulates religious practice. How do we plan to advance religious activity if…

The United Mexican States believes that it is very important to take into account

the religious aspects in analyzing a situation because religion can affect the way people act and not International relations. However, Mexico will not involve directly religious actors in its bilateral relations between states. This does not prevent interreligious dialogues between religious institutions of different countries.

Mexico will support cultural exchanges in order to promote the understanding between our people and people of different countries. This policy will be implemented by making meetings and facilitating trips for religious encounters. At home, the minister of culture will make more programs for children to be educated on different cultures and religions around the world.

Signed:

The delegation of United…
